S.I.M.P. Cards

Super Intense Mega Powerup (S.I.M.P) Cards are designed to be powerful spells that can alter the course of battle.

Before you can play a card, it must already be in your Library when the turn begins. A unicorn may play any card that is present in your Library regardless of which unicorn drew the card.

There are five categories of S.I.M.P. cards in the current design of the game, and there are two types of cards.

Card Categories:

  1. Heal: Restores Health to a damaged unicorn

  2. Damage: Does a direct amount of damage to a unicorn with no chance to miss and avoids sentinel protection

  3. Buff: Improves a Stat Tier of the target unicorn

  4. Debuff: Decreases a Stat Tier of an enemy unicorn

  5. Special: These unique cards have various impacts on the game separate from the first four categories

Card Types:

  1. Single use: these cards have a one-time use, make their impact and then are removed from the game

  2. Duration: these cards will last for a certain number of turns depending on the card

At game launch we have only included single use Heal and Damage cards. The next phase of development will significant overhaul gameplay around S.I.M.P. Cards.
